The resurgence of the COPO Camaro by Chevrolet commemorates the original ZL-1 COPO Camaros first produced in 1969 with the sole purpose of competing in NHRA stock classes.
An LS based 427 naturally aspirated 7.0L/V8 creates 425 HP. This powerful engine features:
- Aluminum block with a Callies 5140 crankshaft and H-Beam rods
- Mahle graphal coated domed pistons
- Chevrolet Performance steel billet hydraulic roller camshaft
- Chevrolet Performance "ceramic ball" high-rpm hydraulic roller tappets

The chassis and suspension features:
- NHRA certified chrome-moly cage
- Four-bar rear suspension with adjustable top links
- Double adjustable Strange Engineering coil over rear shocks
