Yes I have a Texas title clean and clear in my name.
Just testing the water.
It's been an 8 year project. And well thought out.
This is one sweet street/strip machine. Very rare ride you don't see everyday. It's not a cut up race car on the street. All stock frame. All new after market suspension with Q-A1 adjustable shocks, but a true 10.5 car that's street friendly. That's right, no tub work. The trunk is huge. We actually had five grown men get in the trunk and still had room left for more.
Lets look inside.
All the original glass is still in the car and they look like new and work as they did new! The vent windows still roll in and out! Wow! It still has a full interior with the original back seat in it. Nice! The front Leather bucket seats are out of a Cadillac Deville and they're wired up for all the power options on the seats. Pure comfort! It has a very nice and late model GM console with two cup holders to match. Sweet! No, there is no radio in this car. No, there is no A/C in this car, although it was a factory A/C car new. It has nice original factory lap seat belts along with a RCI five point harness belt for the driver(when necessary). Nice original dash pad, instrument cluster, Ash tray, Cigarette lighter, Light switches and still has the Heat and A/C controls. All the lights work. High beam/ low beam, Turn signals, Brake lights, Emergency Flashers, Dome lights and Dash lights. It has the nice original steering wheel with no cracks in it. The original horn button with the Impala imbedded in it. Nice original head liner with no sagging. Nice new OEM carpet that fit's like the factory installed it. Yes, it has a full cage in it with swing out bars on both sides for easing in and out of the car. Oh man, the inside of this car is truly amazing. All the original chrome trim inside shines like new. No, it's not perfect inside, but damn close. Wow! The doors open and close like the day it was new with a solid fit from a real American made GM car. Yes, you can still lock the doors and unlock them with a key from outside. Yes, the key also unlocks the trunk as well. I have a cable, with a nice aluminum billet handle, running down the roll bar into the rear that's connected to the shut off switch in the trunk. There's a Moroso switch panel were the radio use to be and it blends well with the dash. It has a new B&M ratchet shifter, with a boot, and a Aluminum billet hand grip from Hurst. We custom fabricated the handle to hold a Line Lock button on the top of it. It's a Jegs roll out set up. It has a complete set of AutoMeter gauges along with a 5" tach with a exterior shift light. It has duel Fuel pressure gauges on the outside cowl. One is for the carburetor and the other is for the future Nitrous set up. It has all MSD electronics under the dash. 6-AL box, Retard box, Coil, RPM switch and 3-step.
Let's look at the outside.
The paint on the car is Black Midnight by PPG. It's three coats of base coat and five coats of clear. It was painted eight years ago. With that said, it does have a couple chips in the paint now but they have been touched up. It's been wet sanded and shines like glass. I'd say the paint is a 9.5 out of a 10. The front fenders, hood and front bumper are all fiberglass. The hood is on hinges now in stead of being pinned on. We do have the original fenders and front bumper that will go with the car. They're in excellent condition as well. All the exterior trim is in great shape and looks new. The front hood molding needs to be buffed out on a buffing wheel. The rear fender wells have been rolled slightly at the tops and cut at the front bottoms to accommodate a 15x12 wheel and a true 10.5 tire. But it's really not noticeable. Speaking of the tires and wheels, right now the tires are all Hoosier and the wheels are Billet Street Light Specialties. The fronts are 28x4.5x15's and the rears are 29x11.5x15's. The rear's will hold a 31x10.5x15 slick or street tire. It has SSBC Disc brake system all around. It has a Global West Rear suspension set up along with Anti-Squat. The car will hook! Custom built drive shaft with 1350 Moser pinion and transmission yokes. The rear end is a built 12 bolt. Strange spool, 33 spline Moser axles Richmond Pro 4.30 gears, C-clip eliminators, Moser differential cover all built by Pyle Bros. It has a new stock 19 Gallon fuel cell with a custom built sump in it. The fuel is pumped with dual Aeromotive A-2000 pumps. One for the carb and one for nitrous all plumbed with #8 braided fuel lines. The front end has it's OEM A-arms with all new Neoprene bushings and Moog hard parts. Has Comp Eng. 90/10's on the front. It as a manual steering box.
Now the engine and tranny.
The engine was assembled and built by Heads Up Performance in Houston, Texas
It starts it's life with a Dart block. Scat 4340 4.25 forged crank. Scat 4.25/6.385 forged rods. Keith Black 13-1 forged pistons with Perfect circle rings. Comp solid roller cam 714/714 304*-312*@.050 with Comp roller lifters. Comp Gold roller rockers and Manley push rods with Pro comp stud girdles. It has Pro Comp 320 aluminum heads holding a Dart intake that's all been port matched. On top is a HVH one inch spacer with a E-85 1150 dominator by Innovations. The headers are 2-1/8 Hooker Super Comp Jet coated. It has a Aerospace Elec. water pump and a 100-amp one wire Chrome GM alternator. There is an all aluminum radiater built by Griffith with duel elec fans with one also cooling the transmission cooler.
The transmission is a 400 Turbo with a reverse manual valve body built by Jimmy Aribi with a TCI 8" 4500 Stahl convertor.
Now I'm sure there are things that I've forgotten to mention so just ask. I have a 2" thick folder with all the receipts on the build of this car. I'm really just seeing if there is something out there that I would rather have. Don't know. Again, you don't see'm like this everyday.
Sell for $40,000. cash or $50,000. trade. Show me what you have and please keep it real.
