I'm selling my Vega since I've retired. The engine is a 555 c.i. with a Dart block, AFR 357 cnc heads with T&D shafts, Callies crank, Ohio Crankshaft aluminum rods, Wiseco pistons, Jesel belt drive, Reher Morrison camshaft, Jeff Johnston billet kickout pan, and an AED 1150 dominator.
The engine has 20 passes and plenty of torque.
The powerglide trans is Hughes with a Hughes converter and pro brake.
The diff is a Ford 9 inch with 4.57 pro gears.
The car weighs 2478 with a 150 lb driver and all equipment. Best time to date is 8.34 @ 162 mph.
The mild steel chassis is certed for 7.50 et. and is up next year.
This car goes straight, is fast, fun, and easy to drive and I've recently replaced the rear wing with a different style painted with the car's color.
