1955 Chev 2 dr. post gasser.This is the original gasser built in the late 60's and was raced as the Big Bopper in Jacksonville Florida. This car was raced in D/Gas with a small block and came to Canada in around 1985. It was raced in Southern Ontario in NHRA and IHRA bracket classes. I have recently upgraded the drivetrain to a 427 Chev with a 400 Turbo. The engine has rectangle GM heads,605 flat tappet cam,12.5 -1 TRW dome pistons ,race prepped block etc.The trans. has a reverse manual valve body with a 5000 stall convertor. All wheels now have disk brakes and the rear end is 8 3/4 dodge with a Richmond spool,gears and billet caps.The car needs the fuel system hooked up, the engine electrical hooked up and the brake line tubing installed. I will include new fuel cell, BG 400 pump,regulator,Battery box,MSD box,coil,recall tach and oil and temp gauges in the sale. Rims are new Haldibrand knock offs. Front body is a one piece fiberglass flip. This car has never been registered as a street car but has the title from Florida and a bill of sale from me.
